Has there ever been a story of courage in sports to match that of Curt and his Bloody Sock? What a warrior Jordan's Flu Game. Mario Lemieux coming back from Hodgkin's Lymphoma to lead the NHL with 160 points in just 60 games, which is fucking nuts. Rocky Balboa overcoming what I believe was a brain aneurysm of some sort to best then heavyweight champ Tommy "The Machine" Gunn. My favorite part of this was afterwards when Gunn gets arrested, but Balboa gets a free pass. I guess winning the fight absolves him of the litany of crimes he commits during that final sequence.

#28 - Doc Adams. He was one of the guys who standardized rules, he made the bases 90 feet apart #27 - Johan Santana

Kershaw before Kershaw for me. Needed another 4-6 above quality seasons, I see his last was age 33. Rather regrettable post-season stats 1-3, 3.97. I'd not vote Johan HOF.

Johan Santana at #27, ahead of guys like Schilling and Saberhagen?
Yeah, I don't think so.....

I don't understand where your angle is with that comment. I know your panties get ruffled when I say things like "Barry Bonds is the greatest player I've ever seen" and "Barry Bonds belongs in the Hall of Fame", but I assume that's because you don't think he should be at Cooperstown. But sometimes I think that you think that I don't believe that Bonds did steroids. That's silly, of course Barry Bonds did steroids, his head in 2002 was almost Mike Trout-like at that point. Of course, he was juiced. Here's the thing.....I don't care. I just accepted that he was a juicer, but marveled at his greatness. Like you and Mike Trout. I'm not naive, I can look at a guy with steroid head and be honest about it. What about you, Frank...... What about you? π€π€π€

Sorry, not been updating 26. David Cone 25T. Dusty Baker, Felipe Alou 24T. Sammy Sosa and Gary Sheffield So he's going to have ties and not skip numbers? So really it could be the top 102, 122, etc. players not in the HOF. Is #1 going to be a 10 way tie?

David Cone was very good for a few stretches, alas I never thought him future HOF'er.
Same for Dave Stieb. As a Jays fan, he had a bunch of double digit losses during his prime, not a low enough ERA to keep those strong offensive teams in the W column frequently enough. Yes he was a suave thrower & had very memorable games, alas he wasn't quite HOF'er either.

Once again, the article is not saying βThese players should be in the HOFβ. Just the best not in the Hall

You're criteria on if someone is juicing is strictly based on a certain physique, very subjective at that. Cruz Jr is the perfect example that going only by physique is a fool's errand.
