What's this? Are you afraid if you laugh at science people will quit wearing their masks?
I think I explained that if the pandemic is a hoax or the data is being misrepresented, that is all the more reason to wear masks. Disturbed people would have to be conspiring for some purpose you don't want to openly try to thwart. They might make you appear sick through various strategies.

So you actually tried cleaning up a pile of dog shit using a Roomba? And now you believe science has failed you?

So you actually tried cleaning up a pile of dog shit using a Roomba? And now you believe science has failed you? I have neither dog, nor robotic vacuum. I have a Shop-Vac, a handheld vacuum for home, a twelve volt one for the car, and a full height floor/carpet vacuum with an especially good rotating brush (Shop-Vacs don't have.). I also have scads of paper towels. I also have a mop with a wringer bucket. I was just trying to help other people who perhaps have a starry-eyed view of science.

The great thing about science is that it's true, whether you believe it or not. - Neil deGrasse Tyson "Science" in some ideal, platonic sense might be true but scientists are human beings, not angels. Also many of the people who "support" science are retarded, especially on this board. Anyone who thinks science makes religion unnecessary is retarded.

Then again, there is a difference between science and technology. How so? And is engineering yet something else?

Neither Tyson's quote nor my posting thereof make any reference to any scientist. As usual, you post insults. In this case: Three sentences, three insults, zero backup documentation. Science does not make religion unnecessary. It's the lack of credible, verifiable evidence that makes religion unnecessary.

So you actually tried cleaning up a pile of dog shit using a Roomba? And now you believe science has failed you? I’m pretty sure some science was involved in the creation of the dog poop bag so science is still winning.
