Actually, would Mark Hamill count? If you only go by live action roles than i would say yes. But if you also include voice work than i would say no. People may disagree with me on that. Thats what I was going to say. The dude is a voice acting legend at this point.

I ain’t going through this thread so I’m going to say:
Jon Heder - Napoleon Dynamite
If anyone else said it that just means you are right.
Yes he was in Blades of Glory but should that really count since it was all about Will Ferrell.
The answer is obviously no.

Jaye Davidson - The Crying Game and bribed to do one more (Stargate) and pretty much quit acting Doesn't Stargate kind of discount Jaye Davidson from contention? not sure that that means This from IMDb: His dislike of the attention that he received after The Crying Game (1992) made him reluctant to take the role of Ra in Stargate (1994). He didn't want to just turn the offer down so made what he expected to be an unacceptable demand of $1 million. This was accepted and he appeared.

OP Actors only known for one film role and absolutely nothing else.

You had to live in the 1990's to remember Flipper and Almost an Angel. Both completely forgotten movies.

Depends on whether the same people know him for The Crying Game as know him for Stargate. He only made TWO feature films. SOME people only "know" Alec Guinness for being in Star Wars

Depends on whether the same people know him for The Crying Game as know him for Stargate. SOME people only "know" Alec Guinness for being in Star Wars I figured the OP meant objectively. Stargate is a relatively well known and popular movie and Jaye Davidson plays the main villain.

Also nobody knows him from those other movies...and i had actually completely forgotten there was a third Crocodile Dundee.

He was in Silver Streak (1976)And did the voice of Jazz in "The Transformers" & the 1986 Movie... And several other major cartoon characters, too... But I guess voice over work in Films doesn't not count.

But I guess voice over work in Films doesn't not count. He had a long movie and TV career and has been in several big movies ... including One Flew Over the Cuckoos Nest.
