In a recent interview on The View, Perry gave a promising update regarding Sister Act 3. Goldberg claimed that Hollywood was not interested in a sequel for the longest time and attributes Perry as one of the key factors to reviving interest in the project and getting it off the ground. The producer shared that they've "got a good script," but overall progress has been slow. He explained that he is currently trying to organize everyone on the project and get them "moving in the right direction."
