How The Grinch Stole Christmas (2000). That's another one that should've been good but didn't work.

I think the script just isn't very good and the movie has a mean-spirited streak and not in a funny way. I love dark humor, but it just falls flat here. I think the cast is good for the most part. I think you're spot on. Good cast but a bad script that didn't work out. I used to watch it everytime it came on TV at Christmas hoping it would come good somehow. It does have a couple scenes I think work very well though, such as the restaurant scene with Robert Mitchum and the scene with John Forsythe.

There was a good film in there somewhere.

I haven't seen it, won't ever see it, but Kirk Cameron's Saving Christmas has got to be the clincher.

Home Alone 4. Funny how two movies in this franchise fit these polar end questions (at least for me). Wow, you actually watched that? I saw it too, so James is not...alone. You know who else just saw it? Macaulay Culkin. He was a guest on RedLetterMedia and they screened it.

I haven't seen it, won't ever see it, but Kirk Cameron's Saving Christmas has got to be the clincher. I seen it. Its so unbearably and unbelievably terrible that I credit it as my favorite bad film. Its like a modern day Plan 9. Its a film that makes an argument that giving to the poor and needy is a negative thing. The whole film is a bad sermon pretty much. But then again its a film made for Christians and Im not remotely religious so I showed it to my parents who are very dedicated Christians. they both thought it was crazy as well.

So I'd say it is pandering to the wealthier conservative Christians with its distorted message. Cameron must be living in lalaland. He's a real cutie pie too. I wonder what he would think if he knew I'd bone him in a second......

He’s such a creep, Kirk Cameron. When the film was released he blamed atheists for giving it low scores. That total delusion tells you all you need to know about him mentally.
