I’m a bit late starting it, it’s not a big day today really, but discuss it here.

The delay between the visual and audio in Penn State-Michigan State is quite annoying.

The #24 University of Buffalo Bulls going to zip Akron. If you like offense, tune in for the mighty mite, UB RB Jaret Patterson. All 5'9" of him

Mac Jones with 208 passing and 0 TDs against Arkansas.
If Trask throws his typical 3-5 TDs and 350 + yards passing against LSU, I think he wraps up the Heisman.
People are assuming Florida will get beat by Bama, and it’s likely. But, Florida did score 63 points against Arky. Florida can put on the points. It’s not like UF is walking into ATL next week with McElweins offenses.
I think it will be 42-38 or something like that in the SEC CG.

I think the Gators have a shot at beating Bama and I agree the game will be high scoring. Trask pretty much has the Heisman wrapped up, he’s had a fantastic year playing against all SEC opponents.

I agree. LSU beat Bama last year because they outscored them, not stop them defensively. I think Florida can do the same thing. People want to say “Well, Florida has no run game” (which isn’t true. Mullen is just trying to help Trask win the Heisman and plus, why run when you have a stable of receivers and Trask at QB?) They could literally throw it to Pitts (6’6”) all night and Bama has no one to cover him. And if they double him, then you have Toney and Copeland wide open somewhere.

What is the deal with the Pac-10?
They've only played 4 games?
Are they gonna be ready for the college football playoffs?

What is the deal with the Pac-10? They've only played 4 games? Are they gonna be ready for the college football playoffs? They aren’t going to play in the CFP, the only chance they had was Oregon and they lost. The Big 10 and PAC 12 thought if they cancelled their season, the rest of the NCAA would too. “How can they have a season without us?” Then the SEC said “We will just play 10 games within our conference.” Then the Big XII and ACC said “As long as the SEC is having a season, then we will too.” So the season went on as scheduled for those Power 3 conferences. Then Notre Dame joined the ACC for this year (because they couldn’t schedule Big 10 or PAC 12 opponents.) Then when the season went on without the Big 10 and PAC 12, their players freaked out and said “we want to transfer” and play elsewhere. Nebraska was asking if they could just play as an independent for one season if the Big 10 wouldn’t etc... So the Big 10 and PAC 12 had to call an audible and quickly reinstate the FBS football schedule. Big 10 scheduled 8 games and the PAC 12 only 7. Then they had very harsh COVID restrictions and cancelled half their games. So Utah and USC has only played like 3 games and Ohio St. only 5 games. Etc...

The Pac 12, just like the Big 10, fucked up badly by not starting their season at the same time the SEC, ACC and Big 12 did. That would’ve allowed for bye weeks and they would’ve been able to play a lot more games. As a result, the Pac 12 has zero chance of getting anyone into the playoffs, and the Big 10 had to basically bend the rules to get Ohio St into the title game. People acted like the SEC, ACC and Big 12 were idiots for starting their season when they did, but their seasons have gone much more smoothly than the Big 10 and Pac 12. I think it was all political posturing by the Pac 12 and Big 10 presidents to try to cancel the season, they, along with a lot of the state governors in those states, wanted to do the opposite of what Trump was doing so they wanted to shut down football. It’s sickening how the pandemic became so politicized, but I’m glad we’ve been able to have a football season and are at the point where many fearmongers never thought we would get to.

When did Miami's school colors include brown?
They used to have one of the best uniforms. Now they look putrid.

North Carolina is destroying Miami, up 24-3, they are a very good team that belongs in a New Years Six bowl if they hang on and win this game IMO. They’ve got a great offense, both rushing and passing. Mack Brown has done a great job with the Tar Heels.

And how the hell did D’Eriq King start over Trask In HS? Because of his legs? I’d rather have a pocket passer like Trask (38 TDs to 3 INT) than a mediocre passer with great legs. People often forget the QB position is still a passing position.

It's strange to see an undefeated USC only at 15. They just don't carry cache anymore.

Kevin Sumlin out at Arizona. Not surprising when you lose to your in-state rival 70-7. Herm Edwards coaching like a gangsta!
