Some of the actors mentioned in this thread don't really have bad filmography, IMO.
For eg Willis starred in Pulp Fiction, Die Hard, 12 Monkeys, The Sixth Sense etc.
Eddie Murphy in Beverly Hills Cop, 48 Hrs, Trading Places, Coming to America etc.
Nicolas Cage starred Leaving Las Vegas, Raising Arizona, Adaptation, The Rock etc.

The person who said Bruce Willis said post-early 2000's Bruce Willis. I agree that Nicolas Cage is a horrible example, unless that person just means he stars in way more bad movies than good movies at this point. Eddie Murphy's crap movies far outweigh his good movies imo.

The OP made a pretentious judgement to which you ignored so buzz off. He made a pretentious judgement isn't correct. He stated his opinion. I agree with his opinion, but that is beside the point. There are good dumb fun silly movies and mediocre ones. The actors that the OP listed star mostly in the latter imo. Arnold fits into the former. I doubt the OP means every movie they have starred in is crap. It is a matter of taste. Pretentious people annoy me too btw. If you agree with the twat which is as obvious as hell by the way then what makes you think I'll listen to a word you have to say which I wasn't going to do anyway.

Trading places and coming to America were shit. Being made in the 80s doesn't make something good.

Burt Reynolds
He acted in more than 100 movies and less than 10 of those are good movies.

Murphy was great in Dolemite Is My Name. Again, it's all subjective.

I suppose you are also dismissing The Iron Giant and the MCU, because those are limited voice-work. Find Me Guilty is better than Coming to America imo. Delemite Is My Name is a good movie. That doesn't change anything about what I said.

But they still largely have crap filmographies. I disagree about Murphy.

It very well might be the case that you like more of his movies than I do and that you like his good movies more than me. I don't think he has made any great movies, just a handful of good movies.

Life is a bad movie imo, but that is just my opinion. Dreamgirls is just okay. Bowfinger is a good movie though. You have to ignore Norbit, Pluto Nash, The Haunted Mansion, I Spy, Shrek the Third, A Thousand Words, Dr. Dolittle 2, Meet Dave, The Haunted Mansion, Daddy Day Care, Showtime, Nutty Professor II, Holy Man, Metro, Best Defense, The Golden Child, Vampire in Brooklyn, Beverly Hills Cop III, Harlem Nights and Another 48 Hrs. All crap imo. And some of those aren't just bad, they are terrible.

Haven't seen The Golden Child, Vampire in Brooklyn, Harlem Nights, A Thousand Words and Best Defense. There's nothing objective about movies. It all comes down to personal enjoyment. You like what you like. Agree to disagree, I guess.

Yes, that is factually accurate.
