I've been watching the original series. So far I got to watch the Talking Tina episode with Telly. Captain Kirk (he'll always be that) with the gremlin on the airplane. The computer in the cave who was giving information re: the radioactive food. The crash-landed spaceship resulting in the new Adam Cook and Eve (including the apple). The man with the stopwatch who stopped time and broke it while robbing a bank and was left all alone in the world as the only one able to move about while everyone was frozen in time. Mickey Rooney the disgraced jockey who only wished to be "big".

Kind of dated, but a great series.

Ring-a-Ding Girl. Hollywood actress who "visits at home" before going to Rome, and tells all her friends and family to not attend a picnic. Turns out her visit was ethereal and she actually died in a plane that crashed at the site of the picnic she helped avert. It was a fun episode.
One thing I noticed in all the episodes is how they never used makeup on the men unless it was to "age" them or make them look like robots. Sadly, this makes all the women look pretty and all the men look like they're going through detox with the heavy sweats. Every man comes across as though they're in a steam room.
I don't really understand referring to something as "dated". I'm watching a series that was made in the 1960's. Why would I expect it to look as if it was made in the 2000's? I like it looking like it was made in the time in which it was made, which is why I watch classic TV and movies.

At the age of 18 when all people go through the "transformation" and pick a body number so everyone looks the same. "Dr. Rex" is here, and I knew he reminded me of someone, lol Made in the 1960's, and all about women (primarily) obsessed with cosmetic surgery, beauty, and obtaining a certain look where everyone looks the same. Here we are in 2020 and it seems like this really is not actually a very "dated" program after all, is it? We've got women who are all trying to look like and emulate very specific celebrities, altering their noses, their boobs and their butts and hips, buying their merch and makeup, all in an attempt to duplicate their appearance. TV from the 1960's and it's happening today. The characters were also brain dead, where books were banned unless they had to do with appearance. Pretty Stepford. No art, no literature, no culture, no conversation.

I wonder if Sy-Fy is going to have the marathon this New Year's Eve, since they completely forgot about the 4th of July marathon.

Decades Network has it scheduled, over 90 hours, starting New Year's Eve and going through Sunday, 1/3. Includes well over 110 stories, a few repeats, and about a dozen of the hour-long episodes...running through early Monday.

"The Mirror" - there's a "Columbian" rebel and a magical mirror. Suddenly I notice something familiar, and I think it's Peter Falk! He'll always be Columbo to me.

Robert Redford plays Mr. Death I was watching this young man thinking, "My goodness he looks so much like Robert Redford..." (I didn't watch the opening credits, lol)

There's a humorous one with Andy Devine in which he's kidnapped by extraterrestrials who are bored by his tall tales and deeply pained by his harmonica playing. I wonder of that inspired the Slim Whitman parts in Mars Attacks.

The hourlong episodes usually weren't as good as the earlier half-hour ones. The Thirty-Fathom Grave is a notable expiation. Mike Keller is the lone survivor of a sub sinking in WW2 and is haunted by memories and guilt as his present-day (1963) ship sails near the wreckage and picks up a sonar signal. Rod Serling was haunted by similar memories from his wartime service in the Philippines.

Darrin was also in The Purple Testament about a GI who had premonitions of death.
