Sacred Games and Delhi Crime were both great, though the latter was a tad grim in places, hardly surprising given the subject matter. Have heard of Dark but don't fancy it much. Romulus sounds more like my kind of thing.

Final series of Spiral starts soon on BBC. It's supposed to be v. good. Haven't watched it myself.

Haven't seen any of them myself although my wife was a big fan of Romulus. She also recommends the Italian witchcraft series "Luna Nera".

IMDb says that Romulus is in Latin. Is that true?

Interesting choice to shoot it in period-appropriate language - like Mel Gibson did in Apocalypto and The Passion of the Christ. For that alone I would love to watch it - not that I speak any Latin, mind you.
I see that it's a very recent series. Wikipedia in English doesn't even have a page for it yet. I had to look at the Italian Wikipedia to get some information. All the main roles were dubbed for some reason.

I'm not really into prehistoric "caveman" stories but I started to watch it because it purports to tell the story of Rome. I wasn't too taken with episode 1 but it does become a must-see. Locations are awesome and the faith these people had in their gods and the sacrifices they make to them is jaw-dropping. The story follows Yemos, a prince, who is on the run after being falsely accused of killing his brother and the various adventures that he and a former slave, Wiros get up to. The acting is very convincing and the action exciting. It is a product of Sky Italia but not available on Sky UK....yet. I had to stream it. Also, the IMDb rating od 6.4 is IMO at least 2 points too low

Are any of these limited series or all multi-season? Wouldn't mind catching a few limited series as I'm in the middle of too many multi-season shows and do not want to add any more just now.

There's so few Australian made shows that aren't reality garbage it would take me less time to list local ones.
Rake Utopia Ummmm..... Does a 25 year old episode of Frontline count if I watched it in 2020?
