ESPN rolled out Rinaldi for his sappy emotional drawn out heavily-dripping-with-importance melodrama. Hushed reverence and sentimentality for the Masters, Wimbledon, or for some make-a-wish kid. And then there were his excruciating interviews as he tried to coax the same from the athletes. You could see the slow calculations forming in his head. I hate Rinaldi - all he does is do sentimental, emotional sappy human interest stories that have very little to do with sports. I watch for sports discussion and content, if I wanted what Rinaldi brings I would watch a goddamn Hallmark movie or something.
