I’m talking about the video game movie from 2006. Say what you will about this movie, but I freaking LOVE IT!!! There was something that always really stuck with me about it. It feels like a 3rd Charlie’s Angels movie.
The intro is very similar to the Charlie’s Angels movie introducing us to each of the 3 girls. The actresses look similar to the actresses in both Charlie’s Angels movies. The style is also very similar to both movies. I almost thought MCg directed it as well, but he had nothing to do with it surprisingly. The stunts and action scenes are also both pretty similar. There’s also be a character that could have easily been in Charlie’s Angels.
Was this using a rejected script for a 3rd Charlie’s Angels movie, or is it just a coincidence?
Also it didn’t click with me that Ryu Hayabusa was the same one from Ninja Gaiden. I’m not all too familiar with the DOA games, but I really did not like how they portrayed him in this. He almost seemed like a wuss
