Jacques Rougeau and Pierre Carl Ouellet (Carl Joseph Yvon Ouellet) formed the tag team the Quebecers who became one of the most feared duos in all of wrestling. Ouellet became a hardcore legend later in his career which seems unusual. He became Ring Of Honor World Champion at the age of 51, a promotion where he wrestles as Perfect Creation One (PCO). He's known in wrestling circles as "the French Frankenstein" and with good reason.

I heard Crash Holly died at Stevie Richards' house. They were hardcore greats and great friends to boot, but Holly had been struggling, he was out of WWE, and Richards gave his friend a place to stay while he tried to get straightened out.

The whole Holly family were hardcore by what I remember. Didn't Hardcore Holly continue in a match with Brock Lesnar after he'd had his neck broken? They were tough dudes alright.

Molly Holly was hard as nails. People mistook her for being a lightweight due to her demeanour and the sound of her voice, but she was dynamite in the ring.

I remember watching Brock Lesnar vs Hardcore Holly in poor quality, so I can't really remember how the match ended, but I remember Hardcore Holly got hurt and was out for a little while. His push at the time was kind of surprising to me, but I remember thinking he was permanently gonna remain in the main event scene.

I always thought Molly Holly's time as a babyface was the best part about her career. She was just so likeable, and her involvement with the other Hollys, as well as her love story with Spike Dudley also helped to get her a lot of shine. She had to have been the standout of the women's division other than Trish Stratus and Lita at the time from what I remember.

And let's not forget her entertaining stint with my main man, Carolina gangsta Gregory Helms! Hurricane and Molly Holly are still great friends by what I hear, as they should be (I know he runs his mouth but he just gets emotional from time to time because he loves the wrestling business).

Now that's made my day to hear, thanks. I was happy she made the WWE Hall of Fame this year, she definitely belongs there and the Hall roster is stronger for having her.

Fred Olen Ray is a former carny who wrestles under the name Fabulous Freddie Valentine. Ray directed Luke Perry in the movie 'Silent Venom' (2009) and he later helped Perry's son Jungle Jack Perry get started in the professional wrestling business.

Two actresses who've appeared in films directed by Ray are Linnea Quigley and Brinke Stevens. They've both done a bit of wrestling in their time. In fact, Quigley is a former alligator wrestler of some note. Stevens made her acting debut in Robert Aldrich's wrestling picture '... All The Marbles' (1981).

Like Brinke Stevens, actress J.J. North is a loyal member of Ray's stock company. North has wrestled for different promotions and she spent many years on the roster at Roman Gladiator Wrestling. North and her friend and frequent collaborator Theresa Lynn were originally Tromettes who appeared together in 'The Troma System' (1993).

Actress Tiffany Shepis is perhaps the most famous Tromette of all and she's also a wrestler. Shepis used to wrestle at a high level and she's made appearances in Jeanie Buss' promotion Women Of Wrestling (WOW). She's recently talked about trying to get a new wrestling horror movie into production.
Another leading horror performer who's also a Tromette and professional wrestler is punk Jenny Jannetty (I don't know if she's any relation to wrestling legend Marty Jannetty). It's odd that Jannetty has worked on four horror films directed by Brad Twigg yet he failed to cast her in his wrestling picture 'WrestleMassacre' (2018), though on the plus side, it is arguably his worst picture to date.

🪄 'The Portuguese Man-O-War' : Justin Credible 🪒

Justin Credible has been called hardcore wrestling's master technician. His journey to the top wasn't easy, and it was a long way down from there, but then, the rocky road to redemption is often paved with blood. At the height of his career, Credible took the WWE universe by storm when he was anointed an honorary Kliq member, similar to how hardcore veteran Sami Zayn did last year when he became an honorary Uso and part of the highly decorated Bloodline dynasty faction.

"Peter Polaco had spent two years doing job work for Vince McMahon before the boss opted to hire him full time. It was a huge opportunity for him to make money, to make a name for himself and earn some credibility in the industry. Even if it did not work out for him in WWE, he would have the opportunity to go forward elsewhere, demanding a bigger payday based on his name alone.
Unfortunately, his stint as a main roster competitor got off to a rough start, thanks to a gimmick that will forever live in infamy. When McMahon found out about Credible's Portuguese heritage, he created a character that fit it. Dubbed "The Portuguese Man-O-War" Aldo Montoya, he sported a yellow mask that more closely resembled a jock strap than anything.
From the look of the character to the cheesy entrance, complete with pyro, it was clear from the start that Montoya was a character destined to fail. But, to his credit, Polaco worked hard and did everything in his power to get the gimmick over. There is only so much the man behind the mask can do, though, when booking clearly indicated that he was in no better a place as Montoya than he was as P.J. Walker. For two years, he competed under the persona, scoring an occasional upset but losing most.

One of the things that made Justin Credible so formidable was an insane ability to suddenly counter moves, a talent (and quickness of thinking) he shared with friends and contemporaries Lance Storm and Chris Jericho. Just when you thought he was down and out - when he was coming under relentless pressure - he'd spring a surprise defensive move and launch in to an instant counter-offensive. He was tenacious.

"This week on AEW Dynamite, Chris Jericho challenged Jon Moxley for the Interim AEW World Championship. Moxley responded by saying he wants to fight “the last survivor of the Hart Dungeon” and not the current Jericho character. One person who took umbrage at this is Justin Credible.

The former ECW star took to Twitter and responded to Moxley’s promo this week. Credible referenced that he and Lance Storm trained at the Hart Brothers Training Camp in 1992 along with Jericho.

The Hart Brothers Training Camp was run by Keith Hart, who made a brief appearance in the 1993 WWF Survivor Series. Credible was trained by Storm and graduated a year after Jericho. Credible and Storm would eventually become two-time ECW World Tag Team Champions."
