Who agrees last nights episode in the trash landfill was the worst in the series 6 (7??) or plus so years? Episode would have saved itself if Daryl turned around and doinked Carol. He overlooks Beth and now Carol? Come on - it's a Zombie Apocalypse - pickens are slim and you know Daryl and Carol care about each other - who cares if Daryl is as dirty as a pig and Carol is as old as Mother Teresa. Thoughts. Discuss.

Aside from the season opener, I think this entire season has been pretty weak. The show has gotten too big for its britches, but of course, that was inevitable. I definitely DO NOT wanna see Daryl and Carol do the nasty. If they wanna be provocative, like in the opening episode, they should have Negan screw Carl's eye socket.

I'm one of the few that have enjoyed Negan's presence and have enjoyed this past year. Way better than the season at Alexandria and the 'Beth' ordeal at the hospital. Think Negan is a great comedic over the top character with strong depth. Last nights episode was abysmal. Is this the same Rick? Gets his hand impaled on a 'Walkers' helmet shield? Rick vs. Walker in armor one on one ala Gladiator style after all Rick has been through and he puts his hands through a spike in a metal mask? Still love the show. Been a sporadic viewer as of late and tend to catch up during the marathons. Was just a little shocked how abysmal last nights episode was.

'Beth' ordeal at the hospital. I'll agree there, that was definitely the lowest point the show had ever had. Boring!I actually have enjoyed Negan's character on the show. Part of the reason I may not be as enthusiastic as usual is that this is the first time I've followed it on tv week to week. All the other seasons I had seen on Netflix, having instant gratification. I'll probably enjoy this season more when I get the chance to watch them back-to-back-to-back with no commercials and whatnot.

'Beth' ordeal at the hospital. to be blunt - the human vs. human aspect has gotten quite dull. i get in an apocalypse it's supposed to be pure chaos and we may be our own worst enemy - but let's call a spade a spade here - i want some more zombie threats.............

Nope. Still not as bad as some select episodes of Season 3B.
I can forgive the stabbing because Rick was acting on impulse while that tank of a zombie was headed right for him, so he went for the least lethal option, which was that spot on the helmet to push it back. Anything else and he'd be dead from those spikes coming out of its torso. It only takes a second of hesitation, and we visibly saw that hesitation as Rick looks around for something to use, and then "Winslow" was almost on top of him. The real dumb part was that he thought a computer keyboard would have any effect on that helmet.
I've seen people bring up that it's silly Rick panicked after all he's been through, and I don't get it. He was always armed against zombies when he took on a bunch unlike this time, and none of the ones he's ever faced before were decked to the balls in lethal spikes and impervious helmets in an enclosed environment while he had no weapon. This isn't quite like when Daryl panicked in the woods getting his crossbow out while one normal zombie was headed his way. *That* was painfully dumb.
What I disliked in last night's episode was the weird speech patterns of the Scavengers. It was fairly distracting and I'm not sure what they were going for. I was hoping it'd be revealed English wasn't their first language or something. I just really hope that the implication is not that they've been isolated for so long that their speech has diminished, because that'd be really, really stupid.

I really don't want to see Daryl f--k anyone. I just don't see him as a sexual person.
But I thought the episode was okay...except when he lied to Carol.

The Walking Dead has settled into a pattern...Good to great season premiers, mid season finales, mid season premiere (On a side note, who the hell has a mid season finale/premiere??? Good fucking grief) and season finale...Other than that it ranges from okay to a bunch of junk...The most recent episode wasn't quite junk but not too far off...

Don't forget that Daryl is asexual.

This week's zombie chili junkyard meat grinder scene redeems the series in my eyes. R.I.P. Carl
