I got my gf a necklace and a cappuccino machine, and my mom a white Christmas tree. Don't know what I've gotten, except $100 from my uncle.

I also got gift cards from Secret Santa at work (handwriting doesn't match my bf's; don't know who it is) and Uncle [store owner], and cash from the last guy I was messing around with. What a player.

Sweet! I long for the days when I can give my niece and 3 nephews actual gifts. However, since they are 7 hours away by car, gift cards will have to do.
Meanwhile, I was kind of feeling down because I hadn't gotten anything for my father to physically unwrap. But, that changed when I went to the British Store to get our annual Jaffa Cake inventory. They are a soft cookie with an Orange jelly on top - coated with chocolate. SO GOOD!
He was feeling down because he said he hadn't got anything for me. I did mention that especially for this year, I was appreciative of what I already have, and not necessarily of what I need. Plus, there wasn't really anything I needed.
In the end, he did get me a few things plus some gift cards.
