You ever notice there are some Hollywood actors or actresses that they try and push on us?
It seems like Brie Larson is in every commercial right now (Nintendo Switch, Nissan Rogue, etc...) she has a YouTube channel that had her videos in “trending” when they were only getting a few thousand views, they cast her in a lot of major blockbuster franchises.
Why? Has she earned this?
PS. Nintendo reposted her commercial on YouTube several times because people were downvoting it and saying she’s a fake gamer who tries to pretend she’s a gamer on her channel.

I never see her youtube videos as trending. As far as I now she only has the one Nissan commercial.

Modern Hollywood and public merit go together like toxic waste and landscaping.
In the past there were some who got promoted without really measuring up-i.e. Dyan Cannon.

Why did the music industry push Justin Bieber, Taylor Swift and Cardi B onto us? I agree though I can’t stand Brie. She was great in Scott Pilgrim, but she clearly let her ego get to her.

I haven't really heard of her since Captain Marvel.

I don't feel any kind of way about her. I liked Captain Marvel a lot, and I loved Room. She was also good in The Unicorn Store with SLJ. She kind of sounds like a twat in her interviews, but it's not like we have to hang out or anything.

I like her fine, and don't feel like she's being pushed on us. So she's doing commercials for Nissan right now, BFD.

Don’t like her and since she won an undeserved Oscar in a fairly weak year of contenders, Hollywood want to push their “woke” discovery.

Only the new age gaming community would get angry that she does Nintendo commercials, but isn’t a “real gamer”. Lmao
Is there any group of individuals more annoying? I don’t think so, and I’m not even really a fan of Larson.

Not seen the ads. A check online has her listed as doing 2 at the moment - Nintendo and Nissan. What are the "etc"? And I think it's more her agent than Hollywood that push for these. Never seen her videos trending. How is Hollywood pushing these? One starring role in an MCU film and some brief screentime in another. And a role in one movie in a franchise that has hardly taken off - Kong Skull Island. Is that "a lot".. Looks like you just seem to have a problem with Brie Larson

"Hollywood" (to use that vague phrase which is as meaningless as "Washington") has been pushing people on us ever since movies went commercial in the first decade of the 20th century. THE NEXT BIG STAR! Sometimes they are. Most of the time they end up a failure or spend their entire career on the 'B' or 'C' lists or get most of their jobs on television. That's nothing new.

Are they? I don't really pay attention so I wouldn't know. Hollywood pushing young, upcoming starlets isn't anything new, seems like they're always trying to push the new "It girl" and unforutantely they often don't really seem to go anywhere with their careers. I remember when Hollywood kept pushing Megan Fox and Lindsay Lohan (I have not idea what they've been doing in the last few years).
