Hollywood is not pushing Brie Larson on us. She's ALREADY on us. She's been in more than ten movies. She's won an Oscar. She's been the lead in a successful franchise starter. She has a series of commercials. And she's reached the point where her attachment to a movie is enough to get it greenlighted. She's already here.

Apart from the MCU what major blockbuster franchises have Brie Larson been in ? But there's tons of actors that HAVENT even been in ONE major blockbuster and we still think highly of them. That's not a fair criteria of whether or not an actor has "arrived".

Don’t like her and since she won an undeserved Oscar in a fairly weak year of contenders, Hollywood want to push their “woke” discovery. Did you see Room, though? She gave a great performance. Yes I did and thought it was meh! Tremblay gave a better performance.

She’s been acting since she was a teenage in mostly supporting roles until the mid-‘teens. I’m not sure where the OP is getting this “being pushed” from. Was Harvey Weinstein her agent too?

I don’t see the appeal in scrunchy face Leonardo DiCaprio. And when he got the Oscar for getting raped by a bear....  I also can’t stand JK Simmons, but he can act.
