You’ll need to become a PhD in physics to understand. No. God and physics don't mix. They do if you are smart enough to understand physics. Dr. Shroeder doesn’t prove that God exists but he shows with physics that science and God are compatible, at least in Judaism. No one has to believe him, but he makes a good case. Freedom of thought.

"They do if you are smart enough to understand physics." There are plenty of phsycists that diagree with what Schrader has to say, by your reasoning are they "not smart enough to understand physics"? Do you see why this is a bad argument? "Dr. Shroeder doesn’t prove that God exists but he shows with physics that science and God are compatible, at least in Judaism." en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Motivated_reasoningen.wikipedia.org/wiki/Confirmation_bias"No one has to believe him, but he makes a good case." Then why haven't his studies withstood peer review and published journals? You do realize it's not just big mean atheists that have criticized him, other God believers have called out his "scientific" claims. "Freedom of thought." Yes, in the same way we're free to criticize creationist pseudo-science hacks. It's not a one way street.

MIT Physicists can write as much about physics as they please.
Dr. Schroeder is wonderful at this.

That doesn't mean they get a safe space from criticism (which is what you're basically arguing for). "Dr. Schroeder is wonderful at this." I'm sure he's great at preaching to the choir rather than providing actual convincing, empirical based arguments.

If it is about physics which is proveable, then it cannot be about God, which even you have admitted is not. Provable physics is compatible with the belief in a higher power. This is Dr. Shroeder’s point and he makes it very well in four books. Read his books to see how he does it.

God can neither be proven nor disproven. Are you taking that back? Are you making a claim ( the burden of proof then being on you) that proveable physics proves God's existence?

Provable physics is compatible with the belief in a higher power. This is Dr. Shroeder’s point and he makes it very well in four books. Read his books to see how he does it. He sees the two (physics and God) as compatible. He doesn’t ask anyone to believe in God. He explains his position that the two are not incompatible. He’s allowed to think this.

You know that is not logically possible, right? One is proveable the other is not. They are at opposite ends of a spectrum of natural and supernatural, which YOU have claimed are NOT proveable.

He makes an excellent case.
Science is essentially (in my view) a technical description of what happened in the world after it was initially created.
I have a Master of Science degree, so I'm pretty comfortable with this idea.

Then neither of you are either logical nor true physicists if you write off Creation to a supernatural delusion and illusiary 'God'. They are irretrievably incompatible.

Imagine this...
The creator of the universe creates time, space, the laws of physics, evolution, etc.
Science is an explanation of how all this works (as much as humans can explain it so far).
If you don't like the idea, you can lump it.

Yet I am speaking from logic and what you have avowed on these board and this thread... it is a fact, that physics relies on scientific method (FFS you claim to be a qualified scientist ) and God relies on faith and issues which cannot be proven( as you have said yourself here on this very thread many times)...so it is immaterial what some Jewish dude says in however many books that preach to his choir of lack of logic and real science.

I have never doubted your qualifications . I wouldn't do that. I am sure you are competent in your field.( unlike calling' some 'too stupid to understand anything when you don't know either me nor my qualifications) I DO however verr doubt the 'facts' and the lack of evidence that you have produced on your claim that God created the universe according to you and some Jewish highly qualifie dude. We have discussed this at length on this thread and agreed that NO-ONE can prove either the existence or the non-existence of God, either as a creator or in any other way. Stop trying as it only lessens the meaning of all your previous protestations on this thread that one can't....AND YET HERE YOU ARE TRYING . What do you say to that? Yes it is a claim backed by the whole thread up until now. BTW Being Jewsish is a red herring
