I’ve only seen three of the five movies he’s directed to date, and I don’t really know what to make of him. Do people think he’s a good choice for a Batman movie?

His Planet of the Apes movies were quite good. I don’t have any reason to doubt his ability to deliver a superior Batman movie.

He doesn't really have a particular style, so "Matt Reeves' Batman" is kind of meaningless. We can assume it will be good because he's made good movies before, but that's about it.

He’s great. I don’t think he’s directed a bad movie yet. Wish he would give us a Cloverfield sequel....a real one.

Love him. He’s a Nolan-Spielberg mix imo, especially visually. Perhaps a little more serious than both of those guys, but still great.

He has gotten better with each movie he has directed so far.
Cloverfield is crap.
Let Me In is alright.
Dawn of the Planet of the Apes is good.
War for the Planet of the Apes is terrific.
I think he is a good choice for The Batman.

He hasn't had a misfire yet, Cloverfield was an impressive matinee movie, Let Me In was one of the better inevitable foreign horror remakes and his Planet of the Apes movies are transcendent. I've been on board with The Batman since his involvement was announced. I just hope the movie doesn't suffer from all the pandemic setbacks.

I like him. I didn't see Let Me In but I liked Cloverfield and his two Planet of the Apes movies.
