A crossover would have more less looked like Predator 2 (a grizzled cop that plays by his own rules goes after the Predator in Los Angeles). Actually I think Willis would have been a better casting choice than Glover: "Yippee kaye you ugly motherfucker!"

Action Jackson is kind of their poor cousin because it does have cast members from Predator and Die Hard.

Predator! Action Jackson is kind of their poor cousin because it does have cast members from Predator and Die Hard. Was "Action Jackson" supposed to be Carl Weathers attempt at becoming a mega action star? LOL poor guy, apparently he was hoping it would become a franchise.

I think so--too bad really--he could have had a good career in the early 70s if he had been a little older. Jim Brown, Fred Williamson, even Bernie Casey were able to do a number of starring roles in action films.
He did another starring role in an action film a year or two later that I only learned of recently.
