I'm remember liking this movie, but I don't think I've seen it since elementary school, maybe I'll give it a rewatch to see how it holds up. In retrospect, it is kinda weird how the animals talk to each other without moving their mouths (did they have telepathy or something?). Incidently "Babe" came out just two years later and was able to actually CGI the animals mouths moving when they talked.

Timing is everything I guess. I had fond memories of it. It's kind of annoying that we went from 'talking animal' movies like that to shit like Show Dogs.

Talking animal movies are the worst even when I was younger the inanity of those films never escaped me.

I liked it as a kid. Sam tho...haven’t seen it in years. I feel like I’d still tear up at the end tho...when Shadow comes limping over the hill.
