Johnny would be on the sidelines and the camera would be on him
It's about the entertainment factor and intrigue of the two most charismatic QBs of All-Time being on the same team - the same team who drafted both of them
Why? Are you going to become a network executive? Because nobody else would bother keeping a camera on the backup QB at all times as if he'd be doing anything interesting on the sidelines. (And lol at either of these guys being among the most charismatic QBs of all time, but that's a separate topic) And please feel free to name me 5 more charasmatic QBs than Johnny Football
Feel free to name just 1 if you're stuck.....
I have a feeling I won't be reading a response to this

Maybe you haven't heard
Let me be the first to break the news to you
TV is about ratings
And ratings = money
Johnny = ratings which in turn = money
Clearly, which is why he's been so busy lately. Unfortunately he has some 'issues'
Football isn't the most important thing in some people's lives Rey - it's about taking care of your health
Now Johnny seems to be on the path to regain his superstardom

Because he wore fur coats and appeared on The Brady Bunch?
He's most famous for groping a female reporter during a game as he was bombed out his mind

And here I thought he was famous for guaranteeing victory over the heavily favored Colts in the Super Bowl, and winning. Manziel is famous for being a bust and getting arrested for domestic abuse. (Did you know Namath won the Super Bowl?)

The league seems like one of those international soccer leagues where the goals are made by two-by-fours and goats are grazing in the southeast corner of the pitch.
Semi-pro is closer to real football.

(Did you know Namath won the Super Bowl?) What did he win the Super Bowl in like 1942 when it was called The Championship playing against inferior less athletic opponents?
When there were like 8 teams in the league and everybody utilized the fullback as their biggest weapon?

Now Johnny seems to be on the path to regain his superstardom
His main issue is that he isn't professional football quality.

The point is - I see pads, uniforms, fans in the stands, refs - this is football - organized football

Yes - - at 45. After he had been a Hall of Fame player. If this league was playing in my backyards, I'd close the shades.

I'm arguably the biggest Tim Tebow fan in the galaxy; a tremendous positive upbeat sparkling personality? Absolutely.
However charasmatic to me equates to somebody with certain charm set that unifies/attracts others
Tebow is my kind of guy - but he is hated on by a lot of anti-religious folk

What is unifying and charming about Johnny Football? Is it his domestic violence, his drug issues, or his utter lack of NFL quality talent?

That's what makes him human - and makes him a great human interest story
i.e. - Mike Tyson / Lance Armstrong - the story of somebody who falls and rises again
And that's somebody to root for too who's trying to change and keeps getting back up on the horse no matter how many times he falls off
