Thank you for remembering make-up artist Giannetto De Rossi. De Rossi's genius was brought to the attention of a younger generation when his practical make-up effects for Alexandre Aja's cult favourite 'High Tension' (2003) exploded out of the digital era.
Sadly, legendary poster artist Enzo Sciotti died on the very same day, aged 76. Sciotti created poster art for some of the horror films that De Rossi designed make-up and special effects for.

Hungarian Actress Mari Törőcsik (23 November 1935 – 16 April 2021) Popular Hungarian stage and film actress Törőcsik worked with many of Hungary’s top directors, she appeared in more than 170 films from 1956 to 2020. Mari Töröcsik delivered an amazing performance as Mari in the starring role of her debut film Körhinta (1956) Zoltán Fábri, pictured below. Effortlessly she conveyed the beauty of youthful innocence, wonder, anguish, joy and everything in between, so much so the classic film has become one of the most popular and enduring Hungarian films of all time. Many notable performances followed throughout her long and distinguished career. R.I.P Mari Törőcsik
