Revaz "Rezo" Gabriadze (29 June 1936 – 6 June 2021) Distinguished, award winning artist Revaz Gabriadze was Georgia’s most beloved playwright, theater and film director, he was also a prominent painter and sculptor. Gabriadze wrote screenplays for over thirty films, including the wonderfully entertaining iconic Soviet/Georgian classics, Mimino (1977) and Kin-dza-dza! (1986) both directed by Georgiy Daneliya. In 1981 he founded and up until his death headed the Marionette Theatre based in Tbilis. Since the 1990s, Gabriadze worked abroad receiving recognition from international audiences with his Puppet theatre productions. R.I.P Revaz Gabriadze

American actor Clarence Williams III has left us at the age of 81, on June 4th. (Colon Cancer) He played the character of Linc Hayes in the police television series The Mod Squad from 1968 to 1973. He also appeared in films such as Purple Rain 1984, 52 Pick-Up 1986, Tales from the Hood 1995, Half Baked 1998, and Reindeer Games 2000. (after battling brain cancer) Working primarily in television, perhaps best known for his work on the show China Beach 1988 - 1991, VR.5 1995 - 1997, The West Wing 2003 - 2005 and Level 9 2000 - 2009. (cardiac complications) Perhaps best known for his roles in Passenger 57 1992, The Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants 2005 and The Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants 2 2008. In the latter two films, he played the father of a character played by his own real life daughter, Blake. His son Eric is also an actor. He was the son of director John Barry, and former husband to Jean Seberg and Anna Karina. As a director, among his movies are The Great Delirium with Jean Seberg and Isabelle Huppert released in 1975, Last Song with Anna Karina and Gabrielle Lazure appeared in 1986, a young Henry Cavill in Laguna alongside Emmanuelle Seigner and Charles Aznavour in 2001. He also directed several television series, such as Highlander – where Marion Cotillard takes her first steps in an episode in 1992 -, Stargate Sg-1, La Crim and Léa Parker. American actor, singer-lyricist, and producer John Gabriel has left us at the age of 90, on June 13th. Perhaps best known for his role as Seneca Beaulac in Ryan's Hope (1975–1985, 1988–1989), for which he received an Emmy Award nomination in 1980. Gabriel, who played the Professor in the original, unaired Gilligan's Island pilot, was the father of actress Andrea Gabriel. He appeared on Broadway in The Happy Time in 1968, and produced the shortlived eponymous television series Charles Grodin starring Charles Grodin in 1995. He portrayed Pedro in the John Wayne movie El Dorado and also composed its title song in collaboration with Nelson Riddle. American actor and television director Frank Bonner has left us at the age of 79, on June 17th. (complications from Lewy body dementia) Perhaps best known for playing sales manager Herb Tarlek on the television sitcom WKRP in Cincinnati 1978 - 1982 and 1991 - 1993. He started his acting career in the experimental 1967 independent film The Equinox ... A Journey into the Unknown, which was re-shot and re-edited as the 1970 cult classic Equinox (credited as Frank Boers, Jr.). He played the role of Father Hargis, headmaster of the fictional St. Augustine's Academy, on the TV show Just the Ten of Us 1988 - 1990, which was a spin-off of Growing Pains. He also appeared in one of the early episodes of the television show Newhart 1984. He also directed several episodes of WKRP in Cincinnati as well as other TV sitcoms, including Who's the Boss?, Head of the Class (starring WKRP alumnus Howard Hesseman), Evening Shade, Newhart and every episode of the NBC Saturday morning sitcom City Guys. The first thing I look at when I see my laptop is the daily list of deaths, courtesy of Wiki. The great majority of them are from India; not surprising, considering how COVID-19 is pandemic there. But I have to wonder if this is the end of the "Bollywood" film industry.

But I have to wonder if this is the end of the "Bollywood" film industry. I did obituaries about Indians, but then I wondered who knows about them, and scaled it down, and decided that at least one movie must have premiered at a renowned Film Festival, same goes for some south american countries and their 2000 tele-novellas episodes stars. No matter how wrong I am not mentioning, since this is an open room, anyone can put up an Orbit. I've wrote about a few Swedish crooners nobody has heard of, and so can anybody...
