Looking for Biblical events in a Jewish book that the Jews don’t consider literal is stupid.
Measuring prayers? Religious people pray while knowing that it is not an Amazon website where you get exactly what you choose.
If you get a million people to pray for your child not dying of cancer, praying people know that it could very well still happen.
At other times, people are miraculously spared without time for any prayers.
God is not seen as one who takes orders from his creations.

You mean like when they tested the efficacy of prayer? Did scientists do this? LOL Yes, I believe psychologists have studied the effects of prayer/meditation on the human psyche. I believe there is some health benefits to prayer (mostly as a placebo effect though).

I knew someone who survived a car accident that was so bad that every other accident in this specific situation resulted in 100% deaths.
They built an overpass to avoid future deaths, it was so dangerous.
How did this young woman survive? No one really knows. The glove compartment door formed a point where her head should have been.
No prayers. Just a very fortunate break and no one knows how.
It’s life, even for religious people.

Prayers make a lot of people feel better but I don’t know anyone who believes that they guarantee anything.
They can’t prove or disprove the existence of God.

Each person is different. It would depend on the individual, and their individual situation. Sorry, but no. Rationality does not depend on differences in people. They can’t prove or disprove the existence of God. Do you think most people believe that praying to God gives them a better chance at getting whatever they want than not praying to God? If the answer is "yes," then this is testable: just see if praying to God gives a test group a higher probability of getting what they prayed for than a non-prayer control group. If the answer is "no," then what's the point of prayer at all?
