I caught the latest take on The Invisible Man on HBO during their Thanksgiving weekend free preview. I appreciated that the heroine played by Elisabeth Moss wasn't a stereotypical scream queen, and I found the ending satisfying. Please share any thoughts you may have about the picture here on this thread.

I thought it was really good. There's a lot that could have gone wrong, and parts of it felt set up to be clichéd and lame, but it was just excellently well put together to build tension and suspense all the time. It's not perfect, there are a few issues, but it's a lot better than most of us thought it was going to be.

It was really good. I really love the way it modernized elements from the original H.G. Wells novel for today's world. Elisabeth Moss was fantastic. The suspense was well-earned and constantly had me on the edge of my seat. I give it an 8/10.

It wound up being my favorite movie I saw this year.

I was admittedly annoyed when I first heard about it, but I liked it a lot.
