Honestly, I think Argo in 2012 was the best of the decade out of the “Best Picture” winners.
The one that I felt should have won but didn’t was “Midnight in Paris” should have beat “The Artist”

The one that I felt should have won but didn’t was “Midnight in Paris” should have beat “The Artist” Fuck, I forgot about MiP. Yeah that'd been cool but I think the Academy felt as though rewarding Woody Allen was taboo at the time.

I didn't think Fury Road had much of a chance, but people went crazy for that movie and it got a lot of nominations. Hollywood really tried to cover their tracks with Spotlight.  The irony of that movie winning best picture in Hollywood. Hadn't thought of that.

Yeah that'd been cool but I think the Academy felt as though rewarding Woody Allen was taboo at the time. That was before the Dylan Farrow allegations came back into the limelight.
