What are your opinions on the Ginger Snaps films? I think all three are solid movies with intelligent writing, excellent acting, stylish directng and good enough effects IMO.

love the first two. i like the third one but i'm convinced the script was intended to be its own thing and was co opted to sell the name, which hurts it. it has no place in the narrative the first two established. i'd like to see more period Horror in the same timeframe.

Big horror fan, somehow missed seeing the first Ginger Snaps until about 2011. Loved it and couldn't believe I had missed out on seeing it sooner! Saw the second one a few years prior and enjoyed it too. Been a good while since I saw the third one but it was alright enough from what I remember, probably my least favorite but still enjoyed it.

Even though the third is my least favourite, it does have a nice look to it.

I've only seen one and two, I think the first one starts well but I didn't really like the Ginger character. The second one focusing on Bridget is much more to my liking, much more of a personal struggle than bad shit happening to someone.

A lot of times the sequel feels like a remake. But I always saw these films as Bridgets story. Even the first its about her struggle. Nice name and avatar by the way.

Yeah, I suppose Ginger's story was a sort of coming of age story gone bad (which ties in with the whole werewolf thing), it just failed to grab me. I'm more interested in the introverted characters than the domineering ones in stories like this, it's just a personal thing. Thanks, your Bowie avatar is nice too. Androgyny ftw!

The second one is my favorite & especially Ghost. Then I like the third one & finally the original... I like the original least but still rate all three very highly.

Ginger Snaps is my second favourite movie of all time (after Alien)..... I also love the sequels. IMO it's the perfect trilogy. Each film brings something new to the series and they all have their own feel. Second one is the darkest. I love how in the third the sisters seal their doomed fate. Such a beautiful movie. But the first will always be the best. I can't praise the series enough. Katharine Isabelle is my favourite actress, beautiful and talented. I love her !!!

I've seen the first and second films. Very solid examples of the werewolf sub genre. In fact, the first Ginger Snaps makes my top five werewolf films at # 5.
