Not even going to bother watching the Ohio State game. Not that I don’t think they have a chance, I just don’t want to get my heart broken again by a poorly officiated game where Ohio State loses on the final play even though they should’ve been up a couple touchdowns.
We’re going to have yet another Clemson/Bama Championship. Can’t wait to skip out on that and give up on watching college football since it’s pretty much a fucking joke at this point. Hooray.

Bama gets the win 31-14. They dominated this game, I don’t think the Irish ever stood a chance. This Bama team is fantastic and is arguably Saban’s best IMO, and he’s had some great ones, winning 5 titles at Alabama over the years, but this team might be his best.
ND just cannot compete with top tier programs and they were very lucky to make the playoffs this season, if Lawrence had been healthy for the regular season ND/Clemson game I’m pretty sure Clemson would’ve won and ND wouldn’t have been in the playoff picture. I just can’t take ND seriously as a title contender.

Holy shit, Buckeyes up 35-14 at halftime. Fields is playing a great game and Clemson has no response for Ohio St’s offensive attack. Lawrence isn’t playing as well as he should be.

Ohio St’s offense is red hot, they are absolutely lighting Clemson up, Fields has been terrific and their rushing attack has been good as well.

They only played 6 games, they are in mid season form. Clemson and Bama had to play more games and banged up etc... because of the grind. Ohio St. basically had a few practices and are at full health.

I never saw this coming - Ohio St leads it 49-21, Fields with almost 400 yards passing and 6 TD’s.
How come so many CFB playoff games are complete blowouts? It seems like every year we get at least one beatdown, and very few games have been close in the 7 year history of the playoff.

Sixteen players are out tonight for the Buckeyes. Embarrassing performance by Clemson's defense.

It’s weird how many CFB playoff games are total beatdowns - I can count 6 games that have been close out of the 7 years of the playoff, they are as follows -
The 2014 semifinal between Ohio St and Alabama
The 2015 Title Game between Clemson and Alabama
The 2016 Title Game between Clemson and Alabama
The 2017 semifinal between Georgia and Oklahoma
The 2017 Title Game between Georgia and Alabama
The 2019 semifinal between Clemson and Ohio St
Other than that it’s been all beatdowns or dull domination games.

Ohio St gets the win 49-28, terrific performance by the Buckeyes offense, Clemson’s defense had no answer for them whatsoever. Alabama/Ohio St should be a fun title game.
