In March 1976 Marvel Comics and DC Comics jointly published a crossover comic with Superman and Spider man called Superman vs. The Amazing Spider-Man: The Battle of the Century, so the question is, would you like to see this movie made into a movie, and if so should it be a live action or an animated movie ? But another question is do you think such a movie would be a good idea and could it even work ? There was also a Superman and Spider man crossover in 1981 |

It'd be kind of cool as a live action movie, but I think it'd be unwieldy. So perhaps it's best done as an animated film like Into the Spider-Verse.

I know there is probably some weakness that Spiderman could exploit outside of kryptonite but Superman is just an "unfair" superhero. Superman III still cracks me up though with the tar or nicotine from cigarettes (I can't remember) added to the kryptonite.

If both Disney and Warner Bros (among other studios) were able to collaborate and make Who Framed Roger Rabbit happen years ago, then I'd really like to see how Sony, MCU, and DCEU could approach an adaptation about Superman and Spider-man.

Somehow I have never read this comic--only seen the ads. I do have the follow up where Superman fights the Hulk.

Superman would annihilate Spiderman it's not a fair fight. Superman has gotten his ass handed to him by Batman several times and he's just a normal human. I think Spider-man could put up decent fight if he prepared enough (laced his webbing with kryptonite for instance)
