So do you prefer to sleep in a room that is cold or a room that is warm ?
I prefer to sleep in a cold room.

cold, ideally 55-58 degrees. Up to sixty acceptable. Over sixty dont like. Anybody else here likes it that cold? How do you deal with warmer temperatures?

Warm, but not so much so that it's hot.
Between cold and hot: Cold because I can stack virtually an unlimited number of sheets/blankets on top, but there's only so much you can remove before peeling off your own skin when it's hot.

It has to be cold. And if it's over 60 degrees at night like usual in Southern California, I sleep with a fan. I like to burrow under the covers like an Inuit in the Arctic. I can only do that in a chill bedroom.

Okay. Maybe not THAT cold, but I usually get some of my best sleeping during fall and winter time. Always been like that, but still, there is a limit of course, to how cold it can get. I have misjudged a few occasions, where the temprature suddenly drop very far below, and when I wake up, I am almost stiff as an ice sculpture.

Cold.
I open a window a bit even in the winter. Even while I'm driving in the winter and have the heat on, I'll still have the window open a bit to let cold winter air come in.

I like the room to be cold, because I like sleeping under a couple of blankets.

Cold.
I sleep with the window open even in winter. I like my bed to be warm but hate when the room is. I have a terrible time trying to sleep during the summer.

Warm. I don't like sleeping under heavy blankets or having the windows closed. It kind of makes me feel claustrophobic, and I often get too hot or too cold.
If the room is warm, I just use a thin sheet and sleep comfortably. I usually don't have too much trouble sleeping, though. I generally fall asleep so fast that I don't even remember trying to fall asleep.
