Sounds like everybody here is a bunch of lucky bastards, I prefer cold, but in the summer I'm stuck sleeping in a 79 degree room which is unbearable at best and that's with 2 fans running.

The window units are not that expensive (especially if u r buying off season) and can cool it real quick. I wouldnt survive without it..

That's with central air, without AC my room would be 90+ degrees in the summer.

Cold. I sleep with the window open even in winter. I like my bed to be warm but hate when the room is. I have a terrible time trying to sleep during the summer. Same. how cold do you like to go? Well, I never measured the exact temperature but during the winter months my room can be about 13-14 degrees Celsius. Maybe less on a really cold day. And with an open window it can be pretty cool. I much prefer when there's plenty of fresh air circulating. I like to snuggle up under the blankets and drift off. My room often goes up over 23 degrees Celsius or higher during the summer and I hate it. Can't sleep properly. I live in a cool country, but the room faces the sun and the windows are double-glazed, so it ends up absorbing all of the heat. Which is why I'll easily sleep 8 hours in the winter but maybe only 4 in the summer.

I don't like the room to be actually cold, but cool is very pleasant.
But cold vs. hot, omg, yes, cold for sure! If the room is too warm, I would get very anxious and have to go outside for a walk!
Besides i like lots of blankets!

I answered this on another board. If I am sleeping by myself I cool room. But if my girl is with me a warm room.

Warm or cold . I can sleep in a cold room as long as it's not freezing . I generally prefer to sleep in a warm room . I live in a warm country . But about every 3rd or 4th year is mild . This year between Christmas and New Year , it was mild and pleasant, 15°-20°C (59°-68°F) . Our summer is generally around 30°C (86°F) . Our hottest month is normally February which reaches 40°C (104°F) a few times , and sometimes carries on into March as well . It's a great time in the evenings to lie on your bed with only shorts or nothing at all , unless you have air-conditioning , that is compromised by power outages frequently .
