After secret consultation with Matt Garth I believe the problem is resolved. Logically speaking, if you understand list 1 then you know which entry doesn't belong. And you also can figure which entry off list 2 does belong on list 1. Which means you can answer the question of the OP without even identifying the list 2 entries. And vice-versa of course for anyone who first identifies a list 2 entry.
