One of the few daytime talk shows I watch. I love their rapport and how respectful they are to their guests and each other.
Wasn't thrilled when I heard Nene was the guest host but she was surprisingly tolerable.

Yeah, Nene was much more entertaining today than she was the last time she was on. Let's see if she'll stay that way or go back to being obnoxious for the rest of the week.

It's been fun having different co-hosts, but I'm ready for them to pick a permanent host for the fifth chair. Hopefully Eve, Monica or Mel B.
Who would you guys like to see get the job?

How about Tiny's friend Shekinah?  I wouldn't want her to be a co-host, but she did make today's Girl Chat even more interesting with her moment with Tamera. I'm glad Tamera called her out on generalizing, but on a shallow note, WTH was that bun doing on her head? No, Tam Tam. You know you can do better, girl.  |

Did they say who the new guest host for the week will be? I think it'll just be the four of them next week. I see the line-up for Monday and Tuesday and no guest co-host is listed. |

Never mind. J. Lo's on Friday.
I missed Friday's show and watched the rerun on BET. My heart goes out to Jeannie about feeling the pressure about having kids when she doesn't really want to. I hate to say it, but I don't see she and Freddy's marriage making it through this. Yes, they were on the same page about not wanting kids before, but he's changed his mind and she'll end up resenting him if she goes through with in-vitro, adoption or whatever.

^  I've never understood why women who don't want to be moms are shamed for it and treated like there's something wrong with them. Not every woman wants to be a mother and it's better that they know that from jump instead of saying "this whole parenting thing isn't really my bag" after they've already had them. What'd you think about J. Lo yesterday? I loved seeing Adrienne's excitement in particular and it was sweet how emotional she and Loni got about Jennifer inspired them. It's crazy to me that Adrienne is the first Latina on daytime TV. Better late than never. |

I'm not much of a fan so I didn't pay much attention to her interview after the first segment. I feel the same way about Wendy Williams and The View too. Wendy Williams show is annoying and just lives on celebrity gossip , negativity, and rumors. The View is just boring and has uninteresting hosts with bland personalities. The Real is much more lively, relatable, and fun to watch. |

That was so sad learning that Loni had a miscarriage when she was younger and that's why she never tried having kids again. I remember during the show's six week sneak peek a few years she said she was in a relationship with a guy who had a young boy and it hurt her deeply to lose contact with him when she and his father broke up. Loni likes to make people laugh, but you see there's a lot of pain there and I think she's strong when she allows herself to be vulnerable.
