I picked this up today at goodwill and I had always been mildly curious about this since Trey Parker wrote and directed and starred in it. Is it as funny as South Park or not really? Also had no idea this was Nc-17. First one I own.

There are some laughs such as the opening shots of sports arenas and their corporate names (Preparation H Stadium, Maxipad Arena) but it is largely humor free.

I watched it a few months back and thought it was mostly pretty lame. I know it's supposed to be stupid, but I found it more stupid than funny.

It’s not bad, but it’s nowhere near as funny as South Park. It’s a mix of stupid and funny. I found it mildly entertaining.
