Say what you will about the movie, but this was a damn good performance. Shame it didn't get more attention.

Definitely the best thing about that Boring movie I didn't find it boring, though it was longer than it needed to be.

Very good performance. She's one of my favorite horror villains in recent memory.

It was a great performance, and I still liked the movie.

What was "damn good" about it? As the main antagonist in a Shining sequel, I didn't find her very scary. Granted, it's not her fault her character was inept and repeatedly shown up by a 12 year old, but she was still giving basically the same 2D evil vampire performance you'd see from one of the bad guys in a Twilight movie.

I just somehow knew this would be an abrasive reply before I clicked on it.

It’s a solid movie and I find most of the performances are great. I can’t really think of a bad one.

Rose the Hat was no match for Abra in the novel either.

I found the movie to be dull as hell and visually ugly, don’t understand the hype about Mike Flanagan

Everyone seems to hate Doctor Sleep. Now mind you I never read the novel so I won’t comment on it as an adaption, but as a movie I don’t know what’s not to like. Everyone gives a great performance although Ewan McGregor WOULD NOT have been my first choice as Danny (I would rather have had the same actor come back as older Danny) it respects the original movie and feels very much like Kubrick and I think Flanagan is a great director.
Rebecca was wonderful in this. Honestly I had no idea it was her. The last thing I saw her in was Greatest Showman so it didn’t click with me it was her. She was a very good villain I thought and would love to see her play more roles like it.
