These aren't bad choices but perhaps someone else. Joe Cornish or Antoine Fuqua or Justin Lin.

Rick Famuyiwa. He did a movie titled Dope which would be similar in tone, and I was impressed with his direction on the episodes he did for The Mandalorian.
