I think we're all forgetting that today's athletes are always superior to those of yesteryear - hence "Lord Larry" sucks and today's stars would annihilate the so-called "Dream Team." Trout is almost ten years younger than Rodgers and, therefore, a better athletic specimen.  |

However we have unique situation here when it comes to fighting
The more you get hit - the more your nerves become accustomed to taking a beating - the nerves get dulled down - to the point where you can't even feel it in certain areas
Rodgers body is fight ready with the hits he's taken over the years
Trout in all likelihood would have a glass jaw as he's not accustomed to getting hit - or being put in a submission hold
