The World is Not Enough remains one of the most underrated OO7 movies.

Coal Miners Daughter, Gorillas in the Mist and Amazing Grace are good movies.
Haven't seen many of his other movies in a long time. Blink is due for a re-watch.

It's the 7 Up Series that he's most famous for, what's going to happen now with the series??

Fine director. My favourites among his films are 'The Squeeze' (1977), 'Blink' (1993), 'Nell' (1994) and 'Extreme Measures' (1996).
R.I.P.

Sad news... I’m a fan of Coal Miner’s Daughter and Gorillas in the Mist, and enjoyed Amazing Grace.
I must admit, I have never seen any of his renowned ‘- Up’ documentaries. I need to check them out.

R.I.P. Michael Apted
Was a great satire of of what happens when a teen idol has reached the absolute top, and don't know what to do next. Haven't seen it since the early 1980's, but remember liking it. Looking through his CV and there's many good to great movies there, Coal Miner's Daughter, Continental Divide, Gorky Park, Gorillas in the Mist, Class Action, The World is Not Enough, Enigma and The Chronicles of Narnia: The Voyage of the Dawn Treader

I can’t believe that in my reply above I forgot to mention P’Tang Yang Kipperbang, an absolute delight of a film. I think I should rewatch that one soon,
