Oh, sorry. Most adults can't pass that? I noticed the bold after I responded. That is what it said and I wouldn't be surprised.

I wouldn't be able to do long division now for example, but I have never been very good at math.

I've personally always been good at trivia and testing but it's not an indication of intelligence. Even if I am not familiar with a topic, I have a good chance of guessing my way through it by eliminating clearly erroneous picks. I think that's more about knowing the format and having an idea about the topic, rather than any real knowledge.

Part of it was process of elimination and I would include that in intelligence. I would have gotten many of the answers wrong had there not been choices.

That is a valuable skill. Still, I'm wary of these tests as a gauge for intelligence. They're fun to take, don't get me wrong and thank you for bringing it up to pass some of my time, but I find people do put more stock into them than warranted. I would personally prefer to be a brilliant musician who could not solve a crossword to save my life than somebody who has a broad scope of general knowledge.

We are not on the same page. No doubt. I didn't expect us to be. But there's nothing wrong with having different perspectives.

It's blue, cylindrical, and on the far end from my hand is a metal wheel. Behind that wheel is a red lever. What am I holding?
