The Russo brothers were the epitome of directors for hire when it came to the Marvel movies they did. Unlike Joss Whedon, James Gunn or Taika Waititi, there was really nothing in the filmography for the Russo brothers that suggested they’re directors with a vision. But of course, since they directed the highest grossing film worldwide, that gives them a fair amount of clout in Hollywood right now.

Pretty much, plus the way they direct action scenes doesn't always translate well on screen. |
