I only voted for one in this instance, Gremlins - 84', but if I was to name 4 others from your list in appeal order: The Karate Kid A Nightmare On Elm Street 2010 Friday The 13th Part IV: The Final Chapter It was an excellent year for film and difficult to single out, because I like most of those on your list and plenty of others not listed. |

Body Double - ***1/2 A Nightmare on Elm Street - *** Gremlins - *** Romancing the Stone - *** Friday the 13th, Part IV - **1/2 I just went through the list of films released in 84' on IMDB and I was like wow, wow, wow. Oh so many, from many different genres that hold a vast and unwavering appeal for me. What a great year it was to go to the movies, even the low-budget semi-exploitation flick Angel came out in 84 which was full of heart and best of intentions and I can never go wrong with that one.
