I've never completely understood why running quarterbacks seem to get sacked more often. You'd think they'd have a better ability to get away from the rush.

I've never completely understood why running quarterbacks seem to get sacked more often. You'd think they'd have a better ability to get away from the rush. I think it is quite simple, actually. Because of their ability to run, they don't think about throwing it away, or throwing it off target to avoid a sack. So they hold it and look for an avenue to run, and it is that split second when they can't find the avenue that they either get sacked, or run into a sack. There is 4-7 guys rushing them on any play. They might get away from one, but they can't know who else has broken free of the blocker.

I don't really have a horse in any of these games, but I'm kind of pulling for Pittsburgh. I think it's the best matchup for the Bills next week. Scared of Tennessee, they kicked the shit out of the Bills in the regular season. They can't play Cleveland, if the Browns win, they automatically go to KC and we get the winner of this game.
