Bleacher Report is reporting on it too.

This would be a good deal for the Fins, since Watson has proven to be a very good QB while Tua hasn’t proven much (I think Tua will be good, but you never know).

I don’t doubt that media sources are reporting on Watson’s unhappiness, but read this “story” - it’s just some talking heads on a podcast dreaming up trade possibilities. “Reports that Trevor Lawrence will fall to the Eagles reached a new level Sunday as screamingtreefrogs created a thread discussing the idea, which received multiple replies.”

Sounds like rumor mill stuff to me. I live in the Houston area and haven't heard anything about this. Besides, who the hell would trade a pro bowl caliber QB for an unproven rookie?

It was just as you said dreaming up trade topics. It was a "who says no?" type of discussion. I didn't take it seriously. It would be funny in the sense that the #3 pick is the Texans pick so they'd be trading to get their own pick back. Kind of like the Draft Day movie with Kevin Costner. |

There's no way Houston could trade them straight up for each other, the Texans would have to get that #3 pick, plus another draft pick.
Then again, Houston hasn't shown itself to be the brightest bulbs on the tree.....
