When I first saw the movie in theaters, I enjoyed the movie enough, but there were a few things (namely the tonal shifts) that I found a bit jarring. Rewatching it though, I actually think the movie does a pretty good job of balancing out the lighthearted silliness with some of the darker and more dramatic moments. It’s also refreshingly simple and down to Earth, while still being a superhero story.
When it comes to the “DCEU”, I don’t know if I’d consider it to be better than WW, but it’s probably the film that has the least amount of genuine problems.

I was on the fence about it but it is pretty good. Not my favorite DCEU movie but its simplicity is refreshing. Mark Strong is not quite as interesting a villain as I hoped but I love the Seven Deadly sins and their design.

It's a very good movie, Shazam! and Wonder Woman are probably my favorite DC movies from the past 10 years.

I really enjoyed it more the second time, relaxing at home. A really good film! Same feeling as my rewatch of Aqua, better than I first thought.

I found the mother of the hero who all of a sudden changed from mother of the year in the beginning of the movie to couldn't give a fucker of the year when she abandoned her son the most interesting character for most of the movie.

Its got a solid script and actors who fit their roles really well. But it’s just not for me. I enjoyed it fine the first time but not at all on the rewatch. I don’t think I’ll ever feel the need to watch it again.
