...I probably would not have continued watching BBad
But as long as those two were around, I would have continued watching, without Bryan Cranston and Aaron Paul. If I were recasting the teacher and ex-pupil roles, I would prefer Billy Bob Thornton and Riz Ahmed.

Some people may watch Better Call Saul before Breaking Bad, or might perhaps have waited so long to re-watch Breaking Bad, they now view Saul and Mike as audience surrogates within the universe. Which almost makes it feel as if both Walt and Jesse are intruding on their respective story arcs, as both orbit Saul and Mike, both directly and indirectly.

Lets be honest for many who watch Better Call Saul, most might feel Walt and Jesse are impeding within Saul and Mikes arcs as well. There is so much going with this sentence, I'm not even sure how to go about asking you what you are talking about.

But I can't really translate any of this.

My take on the sentence is, most people define this universe in terms of Walter and Jesse. Saul and Mike interacted with Walt and Jesse in this universe. But what hi224 seems to be saying is that it’s a Better Call Saul universe and the events of Breaking Bad interfere w Mike and Saul. Or something like that. As well.

Yeah, the show did need a counterbalance (best term I can come up with) to Walt and Jesse. The show wasn't ready to make Walt the true bad guy. And that was always a big believably point to me for BB. Walt cam make the greatest meth but how can he sell it? Tuco was too over the top and I wasn't sad to see him go. There did seem to be a huge change in the tenor of the show when Saul and Mr. Fring joined. And when Fring left, the show was ready for Walt to become full time Heisenberg.
Say my name

Say my name yeah, which within hindsight was ironic in a way. We have Tuco who never outstayed his welcome(which was perfect as the actor decided to leave for another tv show feasibly), and it actually made the show all the better and opened up its universe.

I don't think I've heard of this show but Giancarlo Esposito and Jonathan Banks are two of the best character actors in crime cinema.

Never had any interest in this overrated and over-hyped crap show. Can't stand that overactor Cranston.
Same with Game of Thrones. A big yawn.
I couldn't care any less.

I'm more of a movie guy but there are a couple of shows that I like such as M*A*S*H, Miami Vice, Knight Rider, Walker, Texas Ranger, Brooklyn Nine-Nine, Two and a Half Men, Kirby Buckets and Cobra Kai. I've also seen limited series like The People Vs OJ Simpson: An American Crime Story and The Spy. Next show I'm going to watch is The Sopranos.

Liking varied things like 80s shows and sitcoms is fine, but Two and Half Men is one of the worst things I've ever seen.
