specifically the restaurant scene. I was in the Michael role.
But instead of going to the washroom to get the gun, the food was so good I had to compliment them about it, and I forgot about killing them. But then it kind of morphed into some other kind of mafia thing--with a bunch of dead mafia guys and I was just standing there watching, I guess sort of Donnie Brasco situation.

What if the man who was supposed to put the gun in the cistern accidentally left the cannoli there instead? Michael would have had to stuff it in Sterling Hayden's mouth so he chokes on it. But then he would have problems dealing with the Turk. Maybe he could have challenged him to a pizza dough tossing contest in the kitchen.
