then very last is dk 64. However the donkey kong on gameboy might be the best , never played it.

I accidentally put donkey kong country games in there as well even though it's a different franchise technically. My bad.
Apparantly donkey kong gameboy is rated the highest, for good reason.

I was about to interject and say that Donkey Kong for Game Boy is the best... but you already alluded to it, rendering my post pointless.  The first few levels are the arcade levels, but then it does its own thing, and becomes a decent puzzle platformer. |
