Elizabeth Olsen is terrific.
I think there are lots of interesting things about season 1. But none better than Elizabeth Olsen. She is terrific. First of all, I think she is gorgeous. And whatever she lacks in physical perfection, she makes up for in stage presence. I wasn't really knocked out by the show. But I couldn't stop watching her.
I thought the changing sets and time periods were entertaining. Along with the comedic commercial breaks. But the story lacked the drama of the Marvel Avengers at first. Although it got more serious towards the later episodes. But still there is this light-hearted sitcom feel to the show.
But Elizabeth Olsen is just a super star in my opinion. She is really the only reason I've kept watching. Although I do like that the episodes are only 30 minutes long. It doesn't take too much time to keep up.

I really enjoyed Wandavision! As others have said, the first episode was quite off-putting, and it's a shame that the season opens with what is in my opinion the weakest episode. On the one hand, I think it was brave to open with the first episode the way they did, the writers were essentially saying "yes, we're not going to explain anything, and you'll have to give this show some time". I suppose that is somewhat refreshing in an era of instant gratification TV. As the show progressed, it seemed to almost get better with every episode. Above all else, I loved the references. I'm a sucker for references, and I was genuinely surprised by the extent of the references used. I actually thought it was slightly odd (in a good way) for a Marvel show to have references which would fly well over the heads of the younger audience members. The attention to detail was superb as well. That 80's style theme song got stuck in my head. Above all else, it's been a while since I had fun watching a TV show, and I'm so pleased that someone took a bit of a risk green lighting this show, it isn't for everyone. 2020/21 has been a real content drought for our medium, and this went some way to mitigating the void.

I thought Wandavision improved as it went along but I really found the villain annoying in the finale. Another one of those types of villains that just talks too much instead of doing what they have to do.

So i have watched the first 3 episodes of the show, and based on those 3 episodes i think this is a really good show.

I think one season was all it needed.

It was never intended to have more than one season. The story will continue in other parts of the MCU.
