"cream of" anything?
Doesn't that defeat the purpose of eating a "cream of" something or another? Like a bisque or creamed casserole?

I like oatmeal.
Big difference in Cream of Wheat and oatmeal, I have a 102 year old grandmother, one has to be put in the blender, the other doesn't.
Anyway, didn't we learn our fat free lesson after Pringles tried it?

I'm referring to foods that are marketed as "fat free" such as salad dressings, cookies, dishes, soups and sauces.
The way they get around that is to bump up stabilizers, gums and added sugars.

The only "fat free" thing I buy is Wishbone Italian dressing and I buy it only because I like the taste.

Just bought TJ's Nonfat Yogurt, but only because the one I usually get (1.5% or 2%) wasn't there.
I did go through a fat-free stage but always rejected anything with sugar etc. They they found that eating fat was better. Still, the exoneration of high saturated fats (e.g. coconut) was premature.
I don't eat "cream of" anything.

Most fat free products remove the oil and replace it with sugar. Since the fat free craze, two things have happened: the number of people with diabetes has gone up and the rate of Alzheimer' has gone up. Our brains and bodies need oils/fats to keep sending those electrical impulses travelling along our neurons. Strip away the oil....

'Fat-free' is a silly slogan. Fat makes food delicious.
What's next? 'Diet Coke'? Sugar baby :-)
