Yeah Spike did Da Sweet Blood of Jesus but would be nice to see a more serious take from him on horror, like a version of possibly I Am Legend.

Well he did produce Tales From the Hood. I was gonna say a horror film made by Spike Lee would like "Tales from the Hood". I didn't realize he produced it.

His stock company players Samual Jackson and Bill Nunn worked on James Bond III's 'Def By Temptation' (1990), as did his sister Joie Lee's friend from the theatre, Melba Moore. It was shot by his regular cinematographer Ernest Dickerson, with music by Moore's associate Paul Laurence (the cast includes singer Freddie Jackson and jazzman Najee).

Right but the very idea perhaps of him directly being associated would be neat.

Directors' series launched on Sky Arts this week and it's a profile by prominent English film critics of Spike Lee. Should be interesting.

Well he did produce Tales From the Hood. He was also still willing to lend his name to those two godawful sequels they did recently.
